Elgin Portland United Church November 11th, 2024 Remembrance Day Services Legion Remembrance Day Service in Heritage Park, Elgin, beginning at 1 PM.  Following the service the Elgin and Area Heritage Society will unveil the remastered “Remember the Fallen” storyboard at the Red Brick School. The RBS will be open for visits, snacks and hot chocolate. Elgin Portland United Church A Thanksgiving Thought Many of our neighbours, both local and around the world, are experiencing illness, injury, loss, tragedy and difficult times. We pray for their healing, comfort, shelter and peace in the arms of our Lord. This weekend we celebrate Thanksgiving on Sunday, October 13.
